Patrick Brennan is Treasurer and CRO of The Progressive Corporation, overseeing treasury, capital strategy and risk management, and investor relations. Prior to his appointment in 2015, he served as Commercial Lines Product Manager. As state product manager, he was responsible for, at various times, eleven states, including Louisiana, Georgia, and Florida. Following his state management role, he was named segment product manager, owning marketing strategy for two countrywide customer verticals, amounting to nearly half the commercial lines division premium.
Patrick joined Progressive in January 2006 as Senior Treasury Analyst and soon became Senior Manager, Investor Relations, leading all of Progressive’s investor relations activities. Prior to Progressive, Patrick worked in treasury at IBM, in roles focused on foreign exchange, funding strategy, and balance sheet risk management. He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame and lives in Shaker Heights, Ohio, with his wife and two sons.
