Edward is Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer at Global Atlantic, responsible for enterprise-wide risk governance and oversight. He serves on the Executive Committee, Management Committee, and is Chair of the Risk Committee.

Edward is an expert at risk management and his experience encompasses institutional client business risk, counterparty credit risk, balance sheet and capital planning, funding and liquidity risk management, asset-liability strategy and market risk.

Edward joined Global Atlantic from Goldman Sachs where he was Managing Director and Global Head of Risk for the Prime Services business. Previously, Edward was a founding member and Head of Global Liquidity Products, working with the Corporate Treasury department on firm funding and liquidity risk strategy.

Edward held a variety of roles in his more than 26 years at Goldman Sachs, from overseeing risk in the Equities Division to various trading roles in the FX, Equity Derivatives and Interest Rate Products businesses.





Jason Coyle serves as the Chief Audit and Risk Officer at Mutual of Omaha, where he leads the strategic planning and execution of the company's internal audit program. Jason became a part of Mutual's internal audit team in April 2013, assuming various roles in IT audit and professional practice. In January 2017, he was elevated to the position of Chief Internal Auditor, a role he held until he transitioned to his current responsibilities.

Prior to his tenure at Mutual, Jason was the Chief Information Officer at a foreign currency investment management firm. He also held the title of Vice President of Data Analytics-Coordination and Support at BNP Paribas and Bank of the West. Bringing to his roles 24 years of auditing experience and 25 years in the financial services industry, his expertise is extensive.

His professional certifications include Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Information System Auditor. An active member of the professional community, Jason is involved with the Insurance Internal Audit Group, the Institute of Internal Auditors, and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.



Frances D. O'Brien is Senior Vice President, Chubb Group and Deputy Chief Risk Officer. In this global role, she supports all Chubb enterprise risk management activities, including strategy, management framework and related processes across the company.

Frances has more than 40 years of insurance industry experience. Prior to her current role, she was Division President, North America Personal Risk Services, with executive operating responsibility for the personal lines property and casualty insurance business that serves affluent and high net worth clients in the U.S. and Canada. Prior to ACE’s acquisition of Chubb in 2016, Francis was Senior Vice President, Chief Risk Officer of Chubb, with global responsibility and oversight for identifying, measuring, monitoring and minimizing operational, financial and strategic risks across the organization.  She joined Chubb as an actuarial trainee in 1980 and served in a number of positions of increasing responsibility in actuarial, product development and underwriting, including Chubb Personal Insurance (CPI) Chief Underwriting Officer, CPI Chief Underwriting Officer for International Business, and CPI Worldwide Underwriting Manager.



Benjamin (Ben) Rosenthal is the Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer for New York Life. In this role, Ben leads the Risk Management department and is responsible for ensuring the company is aligned with industry leading risk management practices. Ben works with senior executives to set risk appetite and embed risk management governance, methods and practices that enable strategic business objectives. Ben is Chair of the Risk Steering Committee and meets regularly with company stakeholders including the Board of Directors.

Ben joined New York Life in 2016 as Senior Vice President and Head of Operational Risk Management. He was appointed Chief Risk Officer in 2020.

Prior to joining New York Life, Ben was Senior Vice President and Chief Operational Risk Officer at Northern Trust, where he oversaw the Operational and Fiduciary Risk practices. Previously, as Senior Vice President and Head of Corporate Risk Analytics & Insurance at Northern Trust, he established risk models, risk analytics, and risk transfer solutions.

Earlier in his career Ben developed operational risk capital models for a large North American bank, built demand forecasting and pricing models for government agencies, worked in the oil and gas industry, and served in the Israeli Defense Force.
