Council Members

Philip Kim (New York) joined KKR in 2012 and is the Chief Risk Officer of Global Atlantic and the Head of Derivatives for KKR.
Previously, Mr. Kim was Head of KKR’s Derivatives and Liability Management team, where he led the firm’s derivatives, fund financing, and credit financing activities within the Global Macro and Asset Allocation group. Mr. Kim chairs Global Atlantic’s Firmwide Executive Review Committee and is a member of the Firmwide Risk Committee, Risk and Operations Committee, and KCM Capital Committee. He is also a senior sponsor of KKR’s API employee resource group. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Kim was with Morgan Stanley in its Corporate Derivatives group. He holds a B.A. from Stanford University.
