Nick Bettin joined Aflac in 2012 as Director of Corporate Finance and has held positions of increasing responsibility including Assistant Treasurer and promoted to Corporate Treasurer in 2021. In his role as Treasurer, he oversees all Treasury related activities including corporate finance, capital raising and deployment, cash operations, short term investment strategies and bank relationship management. As of May 1, 2024, he assumed the responsibility of Deputy Chief Risk Officer and will maintain the Treasurer role until his successor is selected later this year.
Prior to joining Aflac, he was an Associate in the high grade and leveraged loan syndicate, research, and primary issuance group within the investment bank at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Nick holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina.
Within the Columbus GA community, he currently serves on the Board of Directors at the Community Foundation of the Chattahoochee Valley and Open Door Community House.
