Leonid Rasin is Enterprise Chief Actuary and Chief Risk Officer of Liberty Mutual Group. He is responsible for company-wide actuarial oversight and support of all business units within Liberty. As the CRO, he leads Liberty’s global ERM program as well as the company’s economic capital and catastrophe modeling programs and their integration into strategic decision making.
Prior to joining Corporate in 2018, Leonid worked in Liberty’s Global Specialty SBU, where he built out Capital Modeling and ERM capabilities. Before joining Liberty Mutual in 2010, Leonid has held various investment management roles, specializing in Structured Finance.
Leonid has a Master’s degree in mathematics from Brandeis University. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
