B.P. Singh is the Senior Vice President of Global Business Strategy and Risk at Assurant. B.P. is an experienced business leader and functional strategist and is a trusted advisor for business leaders across Assurant businesses.
In his current role, B.P. leads the Business Risk team, working closely with business leaders and key stakeholders internally to embed risk management into the fabric of Assurant. His teams are responsible for identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks across all business lines at Assurant. He also manages Assurant’s reinsurance and corporate insurance teams. In addition, he leads the Business Strategy team, supporting Assurant businesses with analyses on key issues such as industry evolution, business competitiveness, and areas for growth.
His career with Assurant began in 2012, leading Strategy and Analytics for Assurant Specialty Property. Prior to Assurant, B.P. held several roles with HSBC, including Head of Unsecured Loans and Head of Marketing for the Consumer and Mortgage Lending business. Before joining HSBC, he spent 8 years in management consulting with Booz Allen Hamilton.
B.P. holds an MBA from The University of Chicago and a M.S. in Engineering from the University of Michigan.
